Is the selection truly random and fair?
Yes. Names are selected using a uniform random draw from the current pool, so each entry has exactly equal probability. No name has any advantage over another.
Can I pick more than one winner at once?
Yes. Use the Winners input to set how many names to draw in a single pick. All results within one draw are guaranteed to be unique — the same name will not appear twice.
Can I prevent the same name from being picked again in future draws?
Yes. Enable "Remove after picking" and each picked name is automatically removed from the list after selection, so it cannot be drawn again in subsequent rounds.
Can I import a list from a spreadsheet or Excel?
Yes. Copy a column of names from your spreadsheet and paste it into the text box. Each cell value becomes a separate entry as long as they are separated by line breaks, which is the default behavior when copying from Excel or Google Sheets.
How do I use this for classroom participation or student selection?
